Mystery Solved! Engineers Find What Made Blue Origin’s Rocket Explode

No one was injured in the explosion, and the launchpad has been under repair since.
Why Does It Matter?
Engineers say the fix is actually small. They are making a slight change to the valve design. Those updated parts can be fitted onto existing engines quickly. Blue Origin hopes to fly again before the end of 2026.
Finding the cause is an important step for all rocket companies, not just Blue Origin. The same BE-4 engine is also used in a rocket called Vulcan Centaur built by another company, United Launch Alliance. Both teams will study the findings to make sure their engines are safe.
